Some listings for this camera advertise 4K. The manufacturer's own title, the spec sheet, the retail box and even the promo video in this page all say 2K — so that is how we list it. A 4K sensor at this price does not exist; if a listing promises one, it is a typo or worse.
What you get is a genuine 2K picture with 4× digital zoom — a clear step up from 1080p and plenty for a window view.

Do I need to drill holes?
No. It is a window mount — the camera presses against the glass. That is why it suits rented flats.
Does it work through double glazing?
Yes, but thick or coated glass can soften the night vision. Mount it on the inside of a clean pane and keep the camera pressed close to the glass.
Do I need a subscription?
No. It records to a microSD card (not included). Cloud storage, if the app offers it, is optional.
Will it run without Wi-Fi?
